M/G ULTRA-POLY FINISH PUTTY

Our “Ultra” product platform includes Rage Ultra, our premium filler, and Metal Glaze Ultra, our premium putty.  All Ultra products have an Evercoat exclusive resin:  Eco-Resin™.  This resin is based on a renewable resource, unlike most resins which are petroleum based.  This is our first foray into the “green” arena.
 
Another unique feature of Eco-Resin is it enhances the sandability of our filler and putty.  Because Metal Glaze Ultra is so easy to sand, we tell repair techs they can throw away their 40 grit and 80 grit paper, and go right to 120 or 180 grit for sanding.  This reduces the amount of sand scratches and makes for a better repair, thereby reducing the opportunity for comebacks post-paint.  It also reduces their sandpaper costs and improves their throughput.  
 
Like Metal Glaze, Metal Glaze Ultra is a polyester putty and can be applied directly to sanded OEM clearcoat for any small repair.  It is the perfect putty to finish any filler repair as well.  It passes the 500 hour salt spray test, for corrosion protection.  Best of all, it spreads smooth and it is self-leveling.
